The Marine Metadata Interoperability Proposal
In summer 2004, a host of collaborators submitted a proposal to NSF to support a Marine Metadata Interoperability initiative.
NSF funded this proposal, which runs for one year beginning October 1, 2004. Planning activities have begun, and are documented at MmiPlanning.
Many thanks to all the participants, who contributed a lot of effort on short notice, with little monetary incentive.
